When Black women, black women; magic is created, the journey to healing is confirmed and love for one another gets deeper and stronger!

I find BrandiBee’s monthly Yoga and Mimosa’s event to be filled with beautiful energy every single time. I first attended Brandi Colvin of Cincinnati Yoga & Mimosa event back in 2024. It was a nice experience where women of color came together to support, stretch and have brunch on an early Sunday mid-morning, early afternoon.
Once I began to do networking events for Naturally U Cosmetic’s, this monthly healing session was the first on my list to vend at. It was where my people resided. The healer’s, the nurturer’s, the becoming, the healthy and wealthy all gathered at this function.
I had to bring awareness to my brand at this function; any and all events that promoted well being, peace and loving on your body through sacred movements and more I had to be apart of!
So, I did my 2nd vendor’s run last Sunday, May 25th. & of course I brought my mini me along; my beautiful daughter Kennedy. She really enjoys helping me get setup and talk to customers and of course bag the products for them.
It’s so satisfying and healing to my bloodline to have my daughter work alongside me. For several reasons, but one I believe is important, is the one that demonstrates how black women can truly make a living off their creative talents and God given visions.
That with the right supportive community, idea and the faith to move forward, it’s achievable! I’m creating it/living it!
This event was packed of course. Brandi’s energy, In my opinion, attracts women who desires village, wealth and amidst the chaotic world we dwell in, peace.
I was able to meet some new faces, promote my app in the apple store, educate a few ladies on the benefits of Naturally U Cosmetics and experience joy while operating in my lane.
A lane where being myself is flourishing and magnetizing!
This month Yoga & Mimosa was held at Zola’s Cafe. It’s a nice food place in Avondale, Ohio. Which is right here in my city of Cincinnati. The brunch was breakfast style and of course the orange juice and mango juice mimosas was fire as always!
The owner’s son, I can’t remember his name, allowed a few of us to try their signature drink, “The Avondale punch”. It was tasty and if I ever decide to go & enjoy lunch one day, I’ll be ordering another one.
Overall, I had a really good time. I got do some yoga with Brandi and the other women (which she wasn’t too hard on us this time). I got to get a free waist bead (which comes with any ticket purchase). I bought a really cute pink waist bead with butterflies on it too. And just for Kennedy helping me, my little mini me, I bought her a rose quartz bracelet with a shell on it. She picked it out and the lady who made it added a shell for her.
If any of you are located in Cincy, or ever visiting, you should definitely check out yoga & mimosa's.
