Girrrrrrlllllaa' I had a fucking blast! Lol! Ok ok so let me back up a bit on how I even got the opportunity to attend such event.
Lizzy Jeff, is a beautiful soulful musician and divine goddess who curated this entire event 9 years ago. I first found out about Lizzy Jeff's music back in 2022-2023 when I came across "The Goddess Code" single on Youtube.
I was hooked, so of course that lead to me finding her IG page and I've been a fan ever since.
Long story short, she posted on her Instagram that she wanted to gift 2 friends tix to her event in LA. All you had to do was post why you deserved the tickets. And I did... And I promise you, no lie, as I was expressing my reasoning, I literally said to myself "if she choose me for these tickets to zen and kush, that'll be so crazy"...
Y'all! She chose me as the tix winners lol! I couldn't believe it. 15 minutes later after I responded (at least it felt like 15 minutes, it could've been longer lol). However, she personally hopped in ya' girl inbox and left me a few voicemail messages basically saying RSVP and see you on 4/20...
And I pulled up. Well flew in lol. And upon my arrival to the event, she greeted me with hella love and we hugged! I gifted her some Naturally U Cosmetics, Daily Devotion Body Cream and Body & Yoni Oil.

As excited as I was you'd thought I won a million dollars.
Because that's what it felt like. Lizzy Jeff, in my opinion is the definition of divine femininity. She exudes love, power, and a sacred essence you know was God Given.
And I was there, in the flesh to experience her artistic expression and goddess energy. And the fact I was the one "chosen" for these tickets, I knew it was divine alignment and I was going to make sure I showed up in LA to this iconic endeavor!
And so, I was headed to Nip city! I booked my flight, booked my room and was super excited to go to Los Angeles, a city of legends!

Fresh off the plane I was ready to indulge in the city's greatness. Just knowing I was attending thid event in Nip's and Tupacs city was enough to keep the momentum rushing! I was headed to an event that was curated specifically for goddesses like me.
I was so proud to be in LA.
I booked my room at CitizenM in downtown Los Angeles. It was close to event location , the marijuana dispensaries, food places, the farmers market and all the vibes! I'm a city girl, so this spot was perfect.

I was just a "likkle" princess having her way.
I honestly wish it was a better way to describe this feeling of my wishes being granted. The universe is literally responding to me in every way. With opportunities, gifts, networks, spiritual acsension and love... Real love. But that's a topic for another blog post for another day lol. Trust me, I'll let y'all in on my personal journey with dating soon enough...
And my possible move to Dallas, Texas... Shhhh keep it DL for now...
Let's get back to LA and the LA Cafe where I had a very tasty experience for breakfast and later after the event. Where I got so high off that Cali bud and went straight to the cafe to grab a burger and fry that was so bomb!
I need to leave them a google review for sure.

I was taking it all in. The sun, the LA traffic in downtown. The mobile robots delivering food to real humans lol. The farmers market where I met some really cool people. I then came across some guys selling bud. I bought an ounce for $50; and then ended up selling it after rolling one joint of it because I wasn't sure how I was going to get it on the plane lol.

I enjoyed a lil lbunt of this sativa. It looks scary but I promise it smoked decent. lol.

So after I frolicked through the city in the rising, and facetimed my children and love interest, I decided it was time to go back to the room to relax a little bit then get ready to head to the event.

The dress was so perfect for the Zen and Kush experience. Lizzy stated earth tones, sexiness, pops of green and lace lingerie. So of course I thought of this dress. I was keeping it for a rare occasion and boom, this was such a rare occassion for me.

I felt so pretty in this dress.
I got so many compliments and "wow" stares from the collective. It felt good to be praised by other beautiful beings. Welcomed with love and feeling extreme gratitude for the space and, for Lizzy from others in attendance.
I also seen Supa Nova Slom, another God, living LA legend and son fo the well known Queen Afua. I so wanted to ask for a picture, but also wanted to honor and respect his space for sure. So I just soaked it all in, "I'm in a room with some God Power"...
And I allowed myself to remain present... Well before I got to high and hungry. Flying to LA for this event on 4/20 was indeed a vibe. I knew I was going to be in the state of euphoria I was in. The grass, my people, the spiritual essence permeating through the air.
And here I am in LA, on a solo trip with my ancestors and great reflections! What an honor!

I kindly asked or gestured for a kodack moment with the Queen, and she honored it. Which made this even more special for me. I'll never forget this moment and do plan on attending more events in the future curated and put on by her.
I love being around those who reflect the higher parts of me. Being in a room with a being who share mutual ideas of community, authenticity, living in your truth and rising above the traps that were set forth for you is dope.
It's empowering and revolutionary. It's an act of rebellion against the sysytem to keep us separated, against the hatred of us indigenous women in general. Seeing "black women" and many other melanated ethnicities come together to spread love and devotion is cosmic and ancestral as fuck!
And I'm just super happy to be apart of it all. To witness it all. And evolve with it all!
I met this beautiful soul name Iyana. Come to find out she is from Cincinnati or has family who are Cincinnati natives and was so surprised by me flying from Ohio to California for this event.
I'm like "I'm going where the love is"... I know being an Aquarius is what assists me in these solo missions lol. I truly feel this planet is my home, and I'm allowed to go anywhere with just me and all of my ancestors guiding and protecting me.
I'm a powerful being. I do powerful shit.

It was only right to enjoy some of Cali's finest in honor of 4/20, Zen and Kush and the entire Lizzy Jeff curation!
She performed, let her vixen's do they thing and I just embodied it all.
You guys should definitely check out her Zen and Kush annual link ups and her music. Sub to her channel on youtube and be inspired, uplifted and challenged to honor your divine feminine power in ways you problaly didn't think was even possible.
I'm telling you it's so refreshing and a change of pace. Her music is a reminder for the God/Goddess within us.
