There are moments in every artist journey where you feel low on creative fuel. You're asking yourself what do I write about, draw about, talk about when everyone else seems to be writing, drawing and talking about it already?

Or, you may feel empty on idea's and that spark you normally have has fizzed out, and your fighting to get it going again. You are not alone in this. And no, you are not running dry, or "out of the loop" of creativity; you just need rejuvenation.
Perhaps a new environment, a mental break, a soul nourishing experience to rekindle the fire you have for artistry in its many mediums.
Here a few ways to get your imaginative, visionary, creations flowing again:
Take a spiritual bath! I know it seems weird or irrelevant to take a bath to clear entities and energies that have attached themselves to you, it's not! We have parasitic and vampiric energy existing in this realm, physically and spiritually. These baths are important and should be a normal ritual for you. Check out my "Energy Cleanse Bath Soaks" in my shop to learn more about these types of baths and how my plant base ingredients can assist you.
Cliche' but go out in nature! Find you a nature reserve, park or wooded and serene area to connect with the divine and benevolent energy around you. Nature is naturally inspiring , healing and great for grounding your manifestations. If your feeling disconnected to your creative source; take it to the trees, the earth, the water, the air. Allow for that connection to assist you in recharging. And know that you may need a couple days to kick it with nature to be rebooted and realigned with your root, sacral and solar plexus chakras. All of these energy points have to do with your fertility and ability to create!
Cry! Mourn! Release! Sometimes, we can't move forward in our endeavors because we have blocked energy. Something we are hoarding and not letting go of takes up space and crowds our mental and emotional rooms; making it hard to move forward and thrive. What are you storing in your body? Your womb? Your heart and mind? What circumstance or experience has you in a chokehold? Take this time to journal and discover what it is you need to let go of in order to "flow" again. Our natural tendency to control different aspects of life; our lives especially, can harm our ability to expand.
Surround yourself with other creatives! It doesn't matter the genre, or lane of art this person or people are into. What matters is the magnetic and attractive energy that builds around these groups. Listening to others can spark inspiration, and motivate you to think different, or to revisit something that you may have abandoned; gained new insight on, and now ready to push it forward. Just like goddesses need gods, so do artists, creatives and visionaries alike. We need each other to gain momentum and aspiration.
Isolation and meditation is medication! Nothing beats hearing your own soul speak to you and guide you through uncertainty. Moments where you feel cut off or detached are moments your spirit is needing your undivided attention. Become attuned, and go within. Sometimes the best medicine is sitting with yourself. In silence. No phones, no tv, no distractions. Just you and your ethereal spiritual core communing and resolving and relishing with one another. The soul knows what you need, more than anyone or anything. Listen to your voice, your heart, your spirit; they all can and will lead you in the direction you should go!

And don't feel bad or have negative thoughts about yourself in these moments. It's so easy to get caught up in what everyone else is doing, building and creating when we are at a standstill. Standstills are just moments to redirect our energy to something more conducive for our legacy.
I hope you enjoyed this read! I am going through and coming out of a creative block myself and felt this may be needed for the colelctive to hear/read/embody as well. We are super computers, generators, conductors, producers... We need to be recharged, updated and repolished from time to time. Eat well, get rest and most importantly, consult with yourself first in instances like "creative's block".
